On Tuesday, September 15th, 2015, Butterball the Dwarf Therapy Pony helped us kick-off our first Fall Family Reading Night.
Butterball is called the “little horse with the big heart”! She visits libraries, nursing homes, Children’s Hospital, and other special events to bring joy to everyone and make them feel as special as she is. Over 60 patrons came to enjoy our first Fall Family Reading Night and meet with this little horse.
Butterball helps out with story time.
Everyone enjoyed meeting Butterball.
Butterball gets some love.
Butterball has a snack.
Say cheese!
Cheryl and Lisa, two of our librarians who helped Butterball get to our library, say hi to Butterball.
From all of us at the Homer Library, thank you all very much for making our kick-off event for the Fall Family Reading Night a real success.
